Experienced Trial Attorney
Before becoming a criminal defense attorney, I served as a prosecutor in Broward County, Florida, from 1970 to 1976. I tried more than 100 different cases including both felony and misdemeanors. After obtaining this perspective of criminal law and the legal system, I decided I wanted to help defend individuals rather than prosecute them and from 1976 to 2005, I served as the Elected Public Defender in Broward County, Florida. I started my private practice in Round Rock, Texas in 2009, reaching out to help defend individuals in the greater Austin, Georgetown, Cedar Park and nearby areas. I am an experienced and efficient Texas criminal defense attorney that cares about my clients and obtaining great results for them.

With more than 40 years experience as a legal professional, I have acquired not only knowledge of the legal system, but also with the legal community. I have a solid working relationship with local judges and prosecutors and hire in expert staff for cases requiring additional investigative practices. Based upon my prior experience as a prosecutor, I am able to efficiently prepare a case for trial and over the past four decades, I have been involved with high stakes and high pressure criminal cases, including 22 murder cases.
