Alan H Schreiber
In 1969, I received my Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the Indiana School of Law in Bloomington.
From 1970 to 1976, I served as the Assistant State Attorney or Prosecutor in Broward County, Florida. During this time I tried over 100 cases, both misdemeanor and felony.
From 1976 to 2005, I served eight consecutive terms in office (with three contested political campaigns) as the Elected Public Defender in Broward County, Florida. I supervised a staff of 270 employees, which included 110 attorneys. I managed a $12 million budget and personally tried 22 murder cases.
From 2005 to 2008, I worked in my part-time solo private law practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In 2008, I a conducted class action document review for the Texas law firm Nix, Patterson and Roach.
In 2009, I began my private law practice in the city of Round Rock Texas, while continuing to maintain offices in Florida.
Over the course of four decades, I have been personally involved in many high-pressure, high-stakes cases, especially the 22 murder cases, an unprecedented number in the realm of a typical attorney's career, which might involve one or several at the most.
It is this level of experience that I bring to my current practice in Round Rock TX and the greater Austin area, including Georgetown, Cedar Park, and all surrounding communities.
I thank you for visiting my Web Site and encourage you to contact me if I can be of service to you.
